New Orleans Trip Countdown

Twelve days and counting for the Hurricane Katrina relief trip to New Orleans (see more stories here).  Everything seems to be going according to plans.

I always have that little feeling in my stomach that everything may fall apart at the last minute.  But just like most other things in life, it will most likely work out just great.

I also have the weird feeling like I am forgetting something.  Like I have said before, I am not a detail guy and for the most part my wife pulls my butt out of the fire whenever it needs saving.  But she is not going to be on this trip and for the most part she is not involved at all.  Lord help me!!!  If any of you have any great checklists or suggestions for making a trip like this work well, please contact me.

If anything weird happens I will try to keep you all up to date.  I am not sure if I will have any computer access while on the trip at all, so I may not be able to post anything.    

Keep moving forward.  Urban Impact and New Orleans, here we come.

    Trust Him, and all will be well. Be safe, and covered, and wave hello to my friend who is there who I miss like crazy. lol I wish I could remember where she’s working now, but can’t for the life of me recall the name of it.
