Promise Keepers: St Paul Tonight

So I will be off to Promise Keepers  this evening.  I must say it has been quite difficult generating any interest this year.  It seems that many men I talk to have a few different responses.

1.  For the non-churched there is no interest at all or a reaction of fear.  I get the question why would anyone want to do something like that.

2.  For the church guy, I get a response like;  been there, done that.  It has not changed me before, why should it change me now.  Or, the $89 price tag is way to high.  I must agree with that one.  It is very expensive.

So my sense is, this will be a much smaller event.  My prayer is that the Holy Spirit would move strongly and convict men of sin and start a revival in our land.  Will you join me in that prayer?

About waynem

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.

Yes, I will definitely join you in that prayer! I’d like to hear about it since my husband has never been…he works every other weekend and it never worked out. I hope and pray the remnant will be empowered by the experience!
