Robert Spencer: The current Jihad

It seems to me, many if not most Americans (at least the ones that get all of their news from the MSM) have no idea of what is really going on with the war against Muslim Extremists.  Many have this vague idea that this war is all our fault and the mean Americans have forced these nice Muslims to take up arms against us in their war against their oppressors.

Well folks, these people are sadly mistaking, and today I want to make you aware of some remarkable resources that will help you to know what is really going on.

First of all there is a fantastic web site packed with information on the history of Muslim world and their struggle for world domination.  This web site is Jihad Watch.  This site is the brain child of Robert Spencer who has a passion for watching what is going on in the Islamic world.   The purpose of the site in Spencer’s words is…

Because the West is facing a concerted effort by Islamic jihadists, the motives and goals of whom are largely ignored by the Western media, to destroy the West and bring it forcibly into the Islamic world — and to commit violence to that end even while their overall goal remains out of reach. That effort goes under the general rubric of jihad

Jihad Watch is dedicated to bringing public attention to the role that jihad theology and ideology plays in the modern world, and to correcting popular misconceptions about the role of jihad and religion in modern-day conflicts. We hope to alert people of good will to the true nature of the present global conflict.

Some of Spencer’s best work has been tracking the activities of Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) .  This group sounds like a nicely heeled pro-western group that just wants to show how kind and compassionate the Muslims are.  While in fact what Spencer has shown by tracking who the leaders of the organization are and were and by following where the money to support the organization is coming from, that this organization is indeed a front group for the radical Muslim terrorists.   See Elder: CAIR’s Phony Fatwa   It is critically important to follow the money.

Spencer now has a must read book,  The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (And the Crusades) This book has made it to the top of the New York Times Bestseller List without one single interview from people in the MSM.  Why?  Because the book is telling the truth and there are still many truth seekers in the world.

So, get this book and bookmark the site Jihad Watch and read it often so you will know what is really going on in the war on terror.

About waynem

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.

We haven’t purchased the book YET but thanks for the link too. I don’t think I was alone when I prayed for the three network anchors to fall (I didn’t wish for anyone to die and I’m sorry for Peter Jennings’ fate). It took God a year or less. His will be done in the MSM mess. Amen. To God be the glory, people ARE waking up…sloooooooooooooowly.

Yes I would agree some people are waking up, but my concern is that people are moving toward political conservatism when what we really need is repentance and a real revival.
