Many Afro-Americans, dare I say blacks are breaking free from the "Democratic Plantation." The National Black Republican Association is one organization that is leading the way.

All across this country, urban communities run by Democrats, who take the black vote for granted, have been turned into economic and social wastelands. Buildings are dilapidated, black children are trapped in failing public schools, teen pregnancy is at an all time high, and too many young black men have turned to a life of crime and drug abuse.
I hope this is a step towards the concept of racial blindness. No political party can rely on any race being in their camp just because that are of that race. People should be in a party only because the party lines up with their beliefs and values. It turns out that many blacks are realizing that the republican party lines up with their core values and principles.

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work.
My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams.
My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.
