Julie at Happy Catholic bemoans the season finale of Lost. I was only able to see Lost once or twice and it never really clicked with me. Maybe I am just lost.
The season finale of Idol is a different story, now there was an interesting finale. Simon summed it up at one point saying "every young girl in America is looking at Carrie Underwood and wants to be like her", she is beautiful and she can sing like an angel. And the best that I can tell, Carrie is also nice. My daughter is one of those girls that dreams of being on Idol and now thinks if Carrie can do it, I can do it also.
I guess Bo is also nice or a good person. At one point in the evening when he was looking at a crowd of people he said "hey look, there’s my pastor"! That links with other stories that I have heard about him taking his faith seriously.
Coming out the winner of two good people is a big deal. Congratulations Carrie. I will buy your CD.
Actually my husband was the upset one. I was fine with it. Can’t wait for next season to start up. Whereas on the other hand I kind of like watching the American Idol try-outs but once they get everyone selected and move on to the competition I just don’t care any more.
I am glad Carrie won, but I would have been equally happy if Bo won. My true favorite was Anwar, I hope he records something so I can buy it. He is a Believer and an all around nice guy and that smile melts me 🙂
