The St Paul Winter Carnival ( http://www.winter-carnival.com/ ) is an annual event showcasing life in Minnesota and the hearty individuals that live here. It is a great way to get out and enjoy the fresh air and stay sane in the deep Minnesota winters. The ice sculpture event is the event that got me out shooting this particular evening and while I was out I decide to capture the great lights lighting up the night in St. Paul.
New York City Skyline : Reflecting Clouds
This was from our family trip to New York city in the summer of 2010. This was one of those perfect days, perfect temperature, perfect conditions and everyone was in a good mood.
I would highly recommend the trip.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (often referred to as “The Guggenheim”) is a well-known museum located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is the permanent home to a renowned collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern, and contemporary art and also features special exhibitions throughout the year. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, it is one of the 20th century’s most important architectural landmarks.
Target Field Twins Stadium Memories of Summer
Take me out to the ball game…
This shot was captured at the Minnesota Twins stadium known as Target Field in Minneapolis Minnesota. This was a great win for Matt Fox’s professional Baseball debut.
I had great fun with the boys and I was able to witness this wonderful sunset.
As Tim would say, “this is quality of life my boys, quality of life.” Thanks Tim and Pat.
If you know me at all you know I like to get outside and enjoy nature. Luckily I live quite close to one of the best parks in the region, Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN. This is an amazing place for hiking, cross country skiing, biking, canoeing, snow showing or just sitting and enjoying the views. Some of my most popular images come from this fantastic park. I invite to you enjoy with me.
The Guthrie Theater is a Tony Award winning center for theater performance, production, education, and professional training in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the result of the desire of Sir Tyrone Guthrie, Oliver Rea, and Peter Zeisler to create a resident acting company that would produce and perform the classics in an atmosphere removed from the commercial pressures of Broadway.
The Guthrie Theater has performed in two main-stage facilities. The first building was designed by architect Ralph Rapson and included a 1,441-seat thrust stage designed by Tanya Moiseiwitsch, which was active from 1963-2006. After closing its 2005-2006 season, the theater moved to its current facility designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.
The Guthrie Theater is the best place in the city to take portraits, to see great theater, to eat or just to hang out. I love this place.
