Action for Broadcast Decency

Teen TV is loaded with $ex, and Grassfire is taking action!

Because of your outstanding support of Grassfire on other

+ + $ex Dramatically on the Rise with Teens

A new study last week reported a dramatic rise in the number
of $ex scenes and $exual content aired on teen programming–
more than double from just seven years ago. Additional
reports also indicate a dramatic rise in teen $ex.

To answer these disturbing trends, Grassfire will present
more than 250,000 grassroots petitions in support of the
Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act of 2005 (S. 193), to
restore decency back to the airwaves, and we want you to
be a part of this important presentation:

For more than three years, Grassfire has been at the forefront
of a massive grassroots push to restore trust in the media.

"When two-thirds of our young people say they learn about
$ex from the media, we need to make certain the media’s
message to them is one of responsibility and respect!"
says Grassfire President Steve Elliott. "If the media isn’t
doing that, our leaders need to hold them accountable!"

Together, let’s send a message to the networks and our
leaders that we want responsibility restored to our airwaves!

Thanks for taking action with us.

About waynem

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.
