I think this is pretty interesting. We are starting to see some more major US Muslim leaders coming out pretty strongly against terrorism. This is a great thing. I think we need to be careful and discerning to make sure this is not just double speak, (What is the phrase in carpentry? Measure twice cut once) but this is a very possitive sign.
1. All acts of terrorism targeting civilians are haram (forbidden) in Islam.
2. It is haram for a Muslim to cooperate with any individual or group that is involved in any act of terrorism or violence.
3. It is the civic and religious duty of Muslims to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to protect the lives of all civilians.

I could not agree more. That is why we must be vigilant and not just listen to what they say, but also look at what they do.
